Okran.ai
Okran.ai is the answer to the original question that started Ulter: instead of a person having to choose between many different AI websites, all the frontier models — Grok among them — live in one place, and the routing takes that choice off the user’s shoulders entirely.
It is also the for-profit side of the company. The revenue from Okran.ai is what lets Ulter conduct and carry its own research and grow — including the Okran LLM, Project Quantum Reduction, and ElaNa.
ElaNa
Availability isn’t the only reason ElaNa matters to me — privacy is the other half of it. I sit on both sides of this: I’m the CEO of Ulter, and I’m also a user of AI products myself, so I understand the pull from both directions. Learning from users’ chats is a legitimate, real method for making a model better — I’m not going to pretend otherwise. But learning in order to improve a model is a different thing entirely from using that same data for advertising. Those are two different purposes, and they deserve two different products.
That’s why Ulter will offer both the Okran LLM and ElaNa rather than forcing everyone into one model. ElaNa is built specifically for the people and organizations for whom privacy isn’t optional: individual users who simply want that peace of mind, corporations working on projects they can’t afford to have leaked, and even governments. For all of them, running fully offline — with no dependency on a live connection to a server that could see their data — is the actual requirement, not a nice-to-have.
The Okran LLM sits between them
Okran.ai is the platform. The Okran LLM is our own model, the goal the platform is building toward — and it is the model ElaNa is made from. Full size, it runs server-side; quantified and reduced through Project Quantum Reduction, it becomes small enough to run offline as ElaNa.

Why they stay separate
The Okran LLM and ElaNa are not two settings on one product. The Okran LLM is built to be as capable as possible; ElaNa is built so that capability can travel to places with no connection and to people who cannot let their data leave the device. Those are different requirements, and collapsing them into a single description would hide the choice that actually matters to the person deciding which one to use.
The link between them runs one way, through the research: ElaNa only exists at a size that can genuinely run offline if Project Quantum Reduction succeeds. And when a connection is available, ElaNa syncs with the larger, server-side versions of the Okran LLM — the server pushes updated, compressed weights directly down to the offline model.
